EAST MEADOW — A Queens man wearing outlaw motorcycle gang insignia was arrested after state troopers found him with multiple weapons and suspected drugs during what began as a routine stop to assist a disabled motorist.

New York State Police troopers encountered Aaron B. Morgan, 45, standing beside his motorcycle on the westbound shoulder of Southern State Parkway near Exit 18 at 2:10 a.m. Saturday.

Morgan was wearing a leather vest displaying Twister MC patches and a “1%” patch, which authorities associate with outlaw motorcycle gangs.

Troopers observed nunchucks attached to the outside of Morgan’s vest, and during their interview, he allegedly produced metal knuckles from his vest pocket.

When officers attempted to place Morgan under arrest, he reportedly resisted but was taken into custody without injury to either Morgan or the troopers.

A search of Morgan’s person revealed a small bag containing an unidentified white powdery substance, authorities said.

During an inventory of the motorcycle, which Morgan claimed had lost power, troopers discovered a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun containing 15 rounds.

Morgan was transported to the New York State Police East Meadow Barracks for processing and faces multiple charges including second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class C felony.

Additional charges include three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Morgan was arraigned at Nassau County Courts on Saturday.
