BOSTON — Three 17-year-old males were arrested on gun charges following a loud party in Roxbury, according to Boston police.

Officers responded to a report of a loud party at 39 Mount Pleasant Avenue around 9:17 p.m. Wednesday, where they found approximately 50 people blocking the street.

As police approached the group, one teen wearing all black attempted to separate himself from others who were dressed in short sleeves and shorts.

An officer observed a large bulge in the teen’s sweatshirt pocket and attempted a pat frisk, but the suspect swatted the officer’s hands and tried to flee before being apprehended.

Police recovered a Glock 45 with one round in the chamber and 16 rounds in a high-capacity magazine from the teen’s sweatshirt.

The juvenile was arrested on multiple charges including carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a large capacity firearm, and assault and battery on a police officer.

Later, at about 12:41 a.m. Thursday, officers returned to the area to disperse the crowd when they spotted two more teens sprinting away while holding their waistbands.

The pair attempted to hide in an alley marked with “No Trespassing” signs where officers recovered two firearms — a ghost gun with 14 rounds and a Taurus GC3 with eight rounds.

All three teens face arraignment in Boston Juvenile Court on multiple weapons charges.
