SANGERFIELD — A 62-year-old man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in the Town of Sangerfield, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.
On May 14 at 1:48 p.m., a deputy from the Waterville Field Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Douglas J. Brady of the Town of Marshall for driving on a revoked license.
During the investigation, authorities discovered a quantity of crack cocaine, an electronic scale, and clear plastic bags.
Brady was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.
He was issued an appearance ticket and several traffic summons for the Town of Sangerfield court at a later date.
