ST ALBANS — Troopers from the St Albans Barracks cited a Quebec man for negligent operation after he was allegedly caught driving 116 mph on Interstate 89.
Leonard Maksoud, 26, of Verdun, Quebec, was stopped near Exit 19 in St Albans at 7:15 p.m. on May 13.
State police were monitoring traffic in the area when they observed Maksoud’s vehicle traveling at 116 mph, according to authorities.
Maksoud was issued a criminal citation to appear in Franklin County court on June 16 at 8:30 a.m.
