PLYMOUTH — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly took $60 in cash left behind by another customer at a Walmart self-checkout.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, on May 9, a man was seen standing in line at the self-checkout area when a customer ahead of him completed a transaction and accidentally left behind cash that had dispensed from the machine.
Police say the individual noticed the money hanging from the dispenser, pocketed it, and left the store without attempting to alert the customer about their oversight.
Authorities are seeking to speak with the man regarding the incident.
