BOSTON — Boston police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in Roxbury as 21-year-old Justin Bettencourt of Dorchester.
Officers responded to 107 Munroe Street around 2:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they found Bettencourt suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
