HIGHGATE — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department discovered a white Ford F-150 pickup truck on fire in a parking area near the Highgate Dam on May 4 at approximately 9:45 p.m.
The Highgate Fire Department responded to the scene and later requested a fire investigator to examine the vehicle.
Between May 8 and the morning of May 9, authorities discovered the burned truck had been removed from the parking area off Vermont Route 207.
The truck bore registration plates numbered 433A412.
Vermont State Police are now seeking information about the current whereabouts of the vehicle.
