MAYFIELD — A residential structure fire broke out early Tuesday morning on Bellen Road in the Town of Mayfield, prompting response from multiple fire departments.
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company and Perth Volunteer Fire Company were dispatched to the scene at 5:20 a.m. on May 13.
Fulton County Fire Dispatch confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated the structure before emergency responders arrived.
Upon arrival, a Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company Incident Commander reported a “Condition Red” structure fire, indicating a fully involved blaze.
The Mayfield Fire Department was initially requested to remain on standby at their station, but was later asked to send air-pack qualified firefighters to stand by at the Broadalbin station.
The Fulton County Fire Coordinators Office and National Grid were also called to the scene, according to Fire Dispatch.
