NUNDA — Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Dansville resident on felony charges following an investigation by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 6 at approximately 1:51 p.m., Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the Village of Nunda for the report of a suspicious condition involving an individual on the roof of the house.
Upon arrival, Deputies initiated an investigation and made contact with the individual on the roof of the residence.
The individual was identified as 45-year-old Donnell Lemmon of Dansville.
Through the investigation, it was found that Lemmon had made illegal entry into the house and had stolen property while inside.
Sheriff’s Deputy Vincent Molisani arrested Lemmon and charged him with felony Burglary in the Second Degree and Petit Larceny.
Lemmon was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Lemmon was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part at the Livingston County Jail before the Town of Geneseo Justice Houston.
The Judge remanded Lemmon to the custody of the Sheriff without the possibility of bail due to him having two or more prior felony convictions.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office represented Lemmon at the court arraignment for his defense.
The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was present to represent the People.
