HOOKSETT — New Hampshire State Police are investigating after a body was recovered from the Merrimack River Monday evening.
Authorities say there are no known threats to the public in connection with this incident.
State Troopers from the Troop D barracks responded to the scene at 6:14 p.m. on May 12 after receiving a report of a deceased person in the river.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending an autopsy and notification of next of kin.
New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, Hooksett Police Department, and Hooksett Fire Rescue Department assisted troopers at the scene.
