WELLS RIVER — A 38-year-old transient woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly damaging property and attempting to block traffic in the village of Wells River.
Vermont State Police responded to multiple reports of vandalism between 3:26 a.m. and 5:04 p.m. on May 11.
Troopers identified Cassandra Carbee as the suspect following an investigation.
Authorities determined Carbee damaged a window at a residence and a car windshield while attempting to block traffic.
The victims were identified as Valerie Tofani, 56, of Newbury, and Dusty Ballou, 48, of Wells River.
Carbee was arrested and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
She faces multiple charges including two counts of aggravated disorderly conduct, one count of disorderly conduct, and two counts of unlawful mischief.
Carbee was cited to appear in Orange Superior Court at a later date.
