SPENCER — The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Spencer woman on drunk driving charges following a motor vehicle crash investigation.
Debra Swantner, 53, was arrested April 15 for DWI and Aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 or higher, according to a sheriff’s office press release.
Investigators determined Swantner was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated during the crash in the town of Spencer.
Swantner was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Town of Spencer Court at a later date.
In a separate incident, the sheriff’s office arrested John C. Bogart, 44, of Owego on May 7 for felony criminal contempt in the first degree and misdemeanor criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
The charges stemmed from an investigation into damage done to a vehicle.
Bogart was arraigned in CAP Court by Justice Grinage and remanded to the Tioga County Jail pending further action.
