WATERBURY — The Vermont State Police arrested a Waitsfield man on charges of domestic assault and violation of conditions of release following a disturbance on May 11.
Troopers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at approximately 2:29 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with both the victim and the accused.
Investigation revealed that Andrew Wimble, 40, had committed the offense of domestic assault and violated conditions of release from a previous case.
Wimble was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was later released on conditions of release.
The name of the victim was not released, as the Vermont State Police does not disclose the identities of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
