NORTH HAVEN — Three individuals, including two juveniles, were arrested Friday after allegedly attempting to break into vehicles on Universal Drive.
North Haven police responded to a report of several juveniles attempting to break into vehicles near Friendly’s at approximately 3:45 p.m.
Officers located three suspects near Best Buy, where a male juvenile fled on foot before being apprehended after a brief pursuit.
Two female suspects were detained at the scene.
All three suspects were found in possession of screwdrivers and/or USB drives, along with a stolen pocketbook from one of the burglarized vehicles.
The suspects included two juveniles, ages 16 and 14, and 18-year-old Madison Robinson.
They were transported to police headquarters and charged with various crimes including criminal attempt to commit larceny of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief, larceny, possession of burglary tools and interfering.
