HOPE VALLEY — Rhode Island State Police arrested two individuals in separate incidents Thursday at the Hope Valley Barracks.
At 3:43 p.m., troopers arrested Allison P. Rich, 29, of Richmond, Rhode Island, on an affidavit arrest warrant for shoplifting from the Warwick Police Department.
Troopers located Rich at her residence on Switch Road before transporting her to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
Rich was later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
In a separate incident at 7:02 p.m., troopers arrested Peter A. Almanzar, 24, of Providence, Rhode Island, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in West Greenwich.
Almanzar was charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana over two ounces.
After processing at the Hope Valley Barracks, Almanzar was arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a future court date in Third Division District Court.
