SHANDAKEN — A 34-year-old Watervliet man was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated following a crash in Phoenicia.
The incident occurred on May 6 near the Eagle Statue on Main Street.
Police determined the driver was uninjured but intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of .15%.
He was charged with misdemeanor DWI, moving from a lane unsafely, using a portable electronic device while driving, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.
The man was released with an appearance ticket for Shandaken Justice Court.
