SALEM — Salem police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside a Pope Street residence Friday night.
Officers responded to reports of “shots fired” shortly before 8 p.m. near 12 Pope Street on May 10.
Police discovered one person with non-life-threatening injuries at the scene.
A firearm was recovered during the investigation, according to authorities.
The Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to investigate the nature of the person’s injuries and potential criminal activity related to the incident.
