Rhode Island task force arrests 3 fugitives in separate cases

PROVIDENCE — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested three individuals wanted on various charges in separate operations on Friday, May 9.

Justin Silva, 46, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, was arrested by the ACI Investigations Unit as a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Silva, whose last known address was 210 Hines Road, was arraigned in Third Division Court and remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

In a separate case, Alfonso Delgado, 42, of Woonsocket, was arrested as a fugitive from justice wanted by the Salisbury Police Department in Massachusetts for larceny over $1,200.

Delgado, of 81 Hemond Street, was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later arraigned in Providence County District Court.

The task force also arrested Mackenzie Williams, 35, of Pawtucket, on multiple charges including a fugitive from justice warrant from the Seekonk Police Department in Massachusetts for robbery.

Williams, of 197 Sabin Street, also faced a Superior Court warrant for second-degree robbery from the Smithfield Police Department and a Third District Court warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on possession of a controlled substance from the Warwick Police Department.

Williams was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later arraigned in Providence County District Court.
