TORREY — A two-vehicle crash on Route 14 near the Torrey-Milo town line Saturday afternoon left two people with non-life-threatening injuries.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene at 12:28 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision.
Investigators said a southbound vehicle driven by Grace Pelino of Watkins Glen veered into the northbound lane and struck a vehicle operated by Gary Race of Canandaigua.
Pelino was transported to Schuyler Hospital by Schuyler Ambulance.
Elsie Race of Canandaigua, a passenger in Gary Race’s vehicle, was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital by Penn Yan Ambulance.
Pelino was issued a ticket for moving from a lane unsafely.
Assisting at the scene were the Dresden Fire Department, Himrod Fire Department, Yates OEM, and multiple sheriff’s office personnel.
