GREENWICH — State Police arrested June A. Hommel, 59, of Eagle Bridge, on May 9 for vehicular assault in the first degree, a Class “D” felony, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and numerous other vehicle and traffic law violations.

The arrest stems from a one-car rollover crash that occurred on March 9 at approximately 6:54 p.m. on Ash Grove Road in White Creek.

Troopers responded to reports of the crash and identified Hommel as the driver.

Both Hommel and her passenger sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Albany Medical Center where they were admitted for treatment.

Further investigation revealed Hommel allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.25% at the time of the crash, more than three times the legal limit.

Hommel surrendered herself to State Police in Greenwich, where she was arrested, processed, and released.

She is scheduled to appear at the White Creek Town Court on May 15.
