PROVIDENCE — Members of various Rhode Island law enforcement units arrested multiple individuals on April 30 for charges ranging from escape from custody to drug possession, according to police reports.
Brandon Brierly, 18, of West Warwick, was arrested by the ACI Investigations Unit for escape from custody.
He was arraigned in Third Division Court and issued $1,000 surety bail.
Miguel Gietany, 48, of Douglas, Massachusetts, was arrested by the Detective Bureau on two counts of indecent solicitation of a child.
He was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future court date.
Reid Rawlinson, 24, of Wakefield, was arrested for violation of a no contact order, third or subsequent offense.
He was presented as a Superior Court violator and granted $3,000 surety bail.
Joshua Rosario, 33, of Woonsocket, was arrested for unlawful possession of telecommunications device by a prisoner.
He was presented as a Superior Court violator and granted $2,000 surety bail.
Darin Silva, 31, of Providence, was arrested for injury to public property.
He was presented as a District Court violator and granted $1,000 surety bail.
Moises Medina Lopez, 32, of Providence, was arrested for unlawful possession of telecommunications device by a prisoner.
He was presented as a Superior Court violator and granted $2,000 surety bail.
Marquise Mendes, 24, of Pawtucket, was arrested for possession of controlled substance less than 10 grams.
He was presented as a Superior Court violator and granted $1,000 surety bail.
Jose Mateo-Parra, 44, of Providence, was arrested by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine and conspiracy.
He was transported to the Providence Police Department.
Edison Ramos, 21, of Providence, was arrested on three counts of larceny from a person.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Carlos Ledee-Rodriguez, 37, of Providence, was arrested for violation of a no contact order, third offense.
He was transported to the Woonsocket Police Department.
On May 6, Sean Lepkham, 22, of Providence, was arrested by the HIDTA Task Force on multiple weapons charges including possession of a machine gun and possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation.
He was held at the ACI Intake Center pending arraignment.
On May 7, Levon F. Broadie, 46, of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, was arrested as a fugitive from justice on drug distribution charges.
He was arraigned in Third Division District Court.
Walter Restrepo, 41, of Central Falls, was arrested on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for a technical violation related to cocaine possession charges.
Stephen D. Taylor, 45, of Pawtucket, was arrested on charges including possession with intent to deliver fentanyl.
On May 8, Joelle J. Garcia, 27, of Woonsocket, was arrested on multiple charges including carrying a pistol without a license and possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited.
Garcia also had several outstanding warrants.
Sean Lauffer, 39, of Providence, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
He was processed at the Lincoln Barracks before arraignment in Sixth District Court.
