POWNAL — A 37-year-old Pownal woman remains in critical but stable condition after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning.
The Vermont State Police identified the victim as Adrienne Formel, who is currently receiving treatment at Albany Medical Center in New York.
The incident occurred around 6:35 a.m. Thursday near Pownal, according to authorities.
State police investigators are actively working to identify the driver responsible for the crash, but no arrests have been made as of Friday morning.
