Pedestrian seriously injured in Pownal hit and run

POWNAL — Vermont State Police have identified the vehicles and operators involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured early Thursday morning.

The incident occurred around 6:35 a.m. on May 8 near Pownal.

The victim’s name is being withheld at this time.

Authorities have not yet named any suspects, as the investigation remains active and ongoing.

State police expressed gratitude to members of the public who provided valuable information that assisted with locating the two vehicles involved in the incident.
