BOSTON — Boston police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an aggravated assault in Roxbury.
The incident occurred Thursday, Feb. 27, at approximately 8:50 p.m. near 471 Blue Hill Avenue, according to detectives from District B-2.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is urged to contact District B-2 detectives at (617) 343-4275.
Community members wishing to remain anonymous can provide information through the CrimeStoppers Tip Line by calling 1-800-494-TIPS, texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463), or visiting the Boston Police Department’s website.
Police said photos and videos related to the investigation can also be submitted anonymously via CrimeStoppers.
The department emphasized that the identities of those who assist in investigations anonymously are strictly protected.
