WILLIAMSTOWN — A 52-year-old Williamstown woman was arrested early Wednesday on a domestic assault charge following a reported family disturbance.
Jennifer Smith was taken into custody after Vermont State Police responded to a residence in Williamstown at approximately 12:55 a.m. on May 8.
Investigation revealed that Smith had allegedly assaulted a household member, according to state police.
Smith was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
She was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on May 8 at 12:30 p.m.
