WEST CHAZY — Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 37-year-old West Chazy man Monday night on a fugitive warrant issued nearly 10 years ago in Vermont.
Chad R. Cook was taken into custody at 9:52 p.m. on April 28 on a fugitive from justice charge.
The arrest warrant was issued in Vermont in July 2015 after Cook allegedly failed to appear in court for a parole violation.
Cook was arraigned in the Town of Schuyler Falls Court and remanded to Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail.
He is scheduled to appear in County Court at a later date for extradition proceedings.
