WEST CHAZY — A 21-year-old West Chazy man was arrested Wednesday night on felony charges after allegedly harassing an employee and stealing property at an Ellenburg business.
Timothy I.H. Stickney was charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree stalking, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Stickney at 10:38 p.m. following an investigation into an incident that occurred earlier in the day.
Authorities allege Stickney refused to leave the business while subjecting an employee to repeated verbal harassment.
Before leaving the premises, Stickney allegedly stole a bag containing the victim’s wallet and other property, later discarding it on a roadway in the Ellenburg area.
Stickney was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and arraigned in Mooers Town Court.
He was released on his own recognizance, and an order of protection was issued for the victim.
Stickney is scheduled to reappear in Ellenburg Town Court at a later date in connection with the charges.
