BOSTON — Three men were arrested after Boston police executed a search warrant at an East Boston residence following community complaints about after-hours parties where drugs and liquor were allegedly being sold.
Officers from the Drug Control Units of District A-7 (East Boston) and District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) conducted the raid at 829 Saratoga Street at about 6:21 a.m. Wednesday, May 7.
Police arrested Juan Velez Gallego, 35, of East Boston; Mohammad Majeed, 38, of Boston; and Marlon Guitierrez Rios, 35, of East Boston during the operation.
The search yielded various quantities of cocaine, pink cocaine, $6,821 in U.S. currency, drug manufacturing materials, and multiple digital scales, according to police.
All three suspects face charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B substances.
Velez Gallego and Guitierrez Rios face additional charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A substances.
The suspects are expected to be arraigned in East Boston District Court.
