PLATTSBURGH — A 41-year-old Plattsburgh man was arrested Wednesday on a probation violation warrant, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
Nicholas E. Williams was taken into custody at 3:41 p.m. on May 7 by Clinton County Sheriff deputies.
The arrest stemmed from an alleged violation of probation conditions, authorities said.
Williams was originally placed on probation following a conviction for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree, a felony, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Following his arrest, Williams was arraigned in Clinton County Court and remanded to the Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail.
He is scheduled to appear back in Clinton County Court at a later date to face the allegations.
