ELMIRA — A 51-year-old Elmira woman was arrested Wednesday on an active bench warrant for failure to appear on multiple charges.
Kimberly L. Tenny was taken into custody May 7 for failing to appear on charges of petit larceny, criminal personation and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.
The bench warrant was issued by Big Flats Town Court on Jan. 14.
Tenny was arraigned by Big Flats Town Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of bail.
In separate incidents on the same day, Timothy J. Belloma, 38, of Elmira was arrested for petit larceny after allegedly stealing from Target in the Town of Big Flats.
Belloma was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Big Flats Town Court at a later date.
Additionally, Mark E. Chapman, 64, of Elmira was arrested Wednesday on an active bench warrant for failure to appear on charges of theft of services.
The warrant for Chapman was issued by the Town of Big Flats on April 21.
Chapman was arraigned by Big Flats Town Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail.
