Brookline police seek identification in knife assault

BROOKLINE — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify two individuals who may have been involved in an assault and battery with a knife on April 23 in a parking lot on Saint Paul Street.

During the altercation, it is alleged that a participant brandished a pocketknife and threatened multiple witnesses and bystanders.

Both victims suffered minor injuries, including a wound from the knife.

Neither individual is wanted at this time, according to police.

Subject 1 is described as a Black or Hispanic male with long dark dreadlocks with gold-colored tips and a mustache, wearing a black t-shirt, brown pants and white/grey Nike sneakers.

Police say he has a tattoo sleeve on his right arm and a tattoo on his right chest/pectoral area.

Subject 2 is described as a Black male with short black dreadlocks and a beard, wearing a camouflage t-shirt, blue jeans and Timberland style boots.
