PLATTSBURGH — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 374 and Banker Road in Plattsburgh on May 7 at 6:38 p.m.
According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Robin W. Bashaw, 58, of West Chazy, was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado south on Banker Road when she attempted to cross Route 374.
Bashaw failed to yield the right of way and collided with a 2021 GMC Sierra driven by Anthony G. Leerkes, 69, of Mooers, who was traveling east on Route 374.
Bashaw and two occupants of Leerkes’ vehicle were transported to UVM CVPH Medical Center for assessment and treatment of minor injuries.
Bashaw was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Morrisonville Fire Department, District 3 Fire Department and Morrisonville EMS.
