LEWISTON — Lewiston Police responded to reports of gunshots on Rideout Avenue around 9 p.m. Monday.
Officers arriving at the scene found several shell casings in the street and discovered that one bullet had struck a nearby home.
Witnesses told police that occupants of a suspect vehicle appeared to have fired shots at another vehicle leaving the Hillview Complex.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
