CHEEKTOWAGA — A 73-year-old man who was reported missing has been located and is safe, according to the Cheektowaga Police Department.
Larry Rainey had been the subject of a community search after authorities expressed concern that he might have been financially exploited.
Police had previously reported that Rainey was believed to be in the company of two females who may have been taking advantage of him financially.
Authorities had also indicated that Rainey might have been traveling in a white Toyota Highlander.
The Cheektowaga Police Department thanked the public for their assistance in locating the elderly man.
No further details about the circumstances of Rainey’s disappearance or recovery were immediately available.
