DOVER-FOXCROFT — Crews are returning to Shaw Road today to continue recovery operations after a loaded dump truck rolled onto its side, according to the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department.
The accident, which occurred yesterday evening, left the truck in a position where it could not be safely removed due to its weight.
Recovery efforts will include unloading the dump bed and righting the truck so it can be moved from the scene.
Central Maine Power will cut electricity to the area around 9 a.m. because the truck is positioned directly under a power line, allowing tow trucks to safely operate.
Residents on Shaw Road and Line Road in Dover-Foxcroft, as well as Line Road in Sangerville, may experience temporary power outages during the morning recovery operation.
