BOSTON — Police have identified Andrew Owens, 38, of Boston as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday in the Roxbury neighborhood.
Officers responded to 2343 Washington Street at approximately 11:03 p.m. on April 19 after receiving reports of a shooting, according to the Boston Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers found Owens suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A second victim with non-life-threatening injuries later sought treatment at a local hospital, police said.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
