QUEENSBURY — State Police arrested a Queensbury man for grand larceny in the third degree on April 23.
Matthew J. Pistoia, 43, of Queensbury, was taken into custody following an investigation into unauthorized credit card purchases.
The investigation began on Nov. 11, 2024, when Troopers were contacted by a Glens Falls business reporting a theft.
According to police, Pistoia had been employed by the company and allegedly used the corporate credit card to make over $3,000 in unauthorized purchases throughout Warren County between June 2021 and November 2024.
Authorities say the purchases were unrelated to the business’s needs and were for Pistoia’s personal gain.
Pistoia was processed at SP Queensbury and arraigned at the Warren County Centralized Part Court.
He was released on his own recognizance.
