COOPERSTOWN — A woman who abandoned animals to die in a house in Otsego County has pleaded guilty to aggravated cruelty to animals.
Whitney Bachanas appeared in Otsego County Court on Monday for her arraignment and accepted a plea deal.
When she is sentenced in June, she is anticipated to receive 100 days of house arrest with an electronic monitor.
She will be prohibited from owning or possessing animals and will face fines.
