SPRINGFIELD — A Springfield man was arrested Friday evening on an active in-state warrant while police were responding to an unrelated incident.
Officers from the Springfield Police Department encountered Nathan Fields at a Valley Street residence at approximately 6:09 p.m. on April 25.
Fields, who was known to have an active arrest warrant, was taken into custody without incident, according to police.
He was transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing and issued a criminal citation to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on April 28.
Fields was subsequently lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
