SANDGATE — A 50-year-old Sandgate man was cited for domestic assault after state police responded to a family fight at a residence Wednesday morning.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police-Shaftsbury Barracks arrived at the home at approximately 8:34 a.m. on April 30.
Through investigation, authorities determined that Adam J. Hess had caused bodily injury to a family or household member.
Hess was processed at the Shaftsbury Barracks and released with a citation to appear in court.
Court-imposed conditions of release were issued to Hess.
The name of the victim was not released, as the Vermont State Police does not disclose the identities of victims of domestic violence.
