ST. JOHNSBURY — A 31-year-old local man was arrested Saturday morning on an active warrant from Washington County Court.
Brandon Meacham of St. Johnsbury was taken into custody at approximately 9:06 a.m. on Railroad Street, according to St. Johnsbury Police Officer McGowan.
Police said Meacham was known to have an active arrest warrant issued by Washington County Court.
Following his arrest, Meacham was processed at the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
He was subsequently lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center in St. Johnsbury for lack of $100 bail.
Meacham is scheduled to appear in Washington County Court on May 5.
