Woodbury man arrested on multiple charges after domestic disturbance

CABOT — Vermont State Police arrested a Woodbury man on multiple charges following a domestic disturbance at a residence on Jug Brook Road Friday night.

Calvin Lamphere, 58, faces charges of burglary, violation of a relief from abuse order, aggravated stalking, second-degree aggravated domestic assault and driving with a criminally suspended license.

Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the residence at 10:29 p.m. after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.

Following their investigation, authorities located Lamphere in Calais and took him into custody.

Lamphere was held on $5,000 bail and issued a citation to appear at Washington County Superior Court-Criminal Division on May 5 at 12:30 p.m.

The identity of the victim was not released, as Vermont State Police does not disclose names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
