North Kingstown man arrested for reckless driving in Providence

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested a North Kingstown man late Tuesday on charges of reckless driving and eluding officers following a traffic stop in Providence.

Jacob Hytinen, 26, of 489 School Street, North Kingstown, was taken into custody at 11:38 p.m. after troopers stopped his vehicle on Plainfield Street.

Hytinen was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing and held overnight as a probation violator.

He is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday morning.
