HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police arrested a 37-year-old Highgate man on an active warrant Saturday morning after finding him in a vehicle on the Rail Trail.
Christopher Laroche was taken into custody at 9:48 a.m. on May 3 when officers located two males in a vehicle on the Rail Trail in Highgate.
Laroche had an active arrest warrant for disorderly conduct-fight and possession of a depressant, stimulant, or narcotic less than 100 times a dose.
Following his arrest, Laroche was transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility where he was held on $200 bail.
He was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court at 1 p.m. on May 5 to face the charges.
