LYNDONVILLE — A man with no fixed address was arrested Saturday afternoon on multiple warrants, including felony charges, after police stopped his vehicle on Memorial Drive.
Tyler Bathalon, 32, was taken into custody at 2 p.m. May 3 when a Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer stopped his vehicle near South Wheelock Road.
The officer had observed what was described as a suspicious vehicle while monitoring traffic on Middle Street near Main Street.
Bathalon was arrested on five outstanding warrants from multiple jurisdictions, including charges of DUI drugs, false information to police, identity theft, fentanyl trafficking, cocaine possession, and aggravated domestic assault.
The most serious warrant, issued by Vermont State Police in Derby, was for aggravated domestic assault first degree, three counts of domestic assault, and six counts of violation of probation, with a hold without bail status.
Other warrants included a $20,000 bail requirement for felony fentanyl trafficking and cocaine possession charges from the Lyndonville Police Department.
Bathalon was lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility with a hold without bail status, plus $21,400 bail on the other four warrants.
He was also cited into Caledonia Superior Court for June 23 at 8:30 a.m. for a new violation of driving after criminal suspension and issued three civil traffic violations.
