Connecticut woman arrested on warrant in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — A Connecticut woman was arrested on a warrant Saturday morning at a local motel.

On May 3, a Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer was notified by facility management of suspicious activity occurring at room #134 on 28 Back Center Road.

Further investigation revealed that Savannah Gonzalez, 36, of New Britain, Connecticut, was the subject of a felony warrant issued January 2024 by Rutland Superior Court for Impeding a Public Official and False Information.

A Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer located Gonzalez in the parking lot outside her room at about 11:20 a.m. and she was arrested pursuant to the warrant.

Gonzalez was lodged at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash or surety.

The Lyndonville Police Department was assisted in this matter by Tpr. Pearson of the Vermont State Police.
