LINCOLN — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Massachusetts woman Monday night following a high-speed pursuit investigation.
Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks took Nasazya Gray, 25, of Attleboro, into custody at 10:30 p.m. on charges of reckless driving and eluding police in a high-speed pursuit, first offense.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation conducted jointly by state troopers and East Providence Police Department officers.
Gray, a resident of 508 Wilmarth Street, was apprehended on an affidavit and arrest warrant.
She was held overnight at the East Providence Police Department before being transferred to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Gray is scheduled for morning arraignment before a Justice of the Peace.
