ROCKINGHAM — A 68-year-old Rockingham man faces criminal charges after allegedly threatening neighbors and firing a gun Friday evening.
Paul Hendrickson was cited for criminal threatening and reckless endangerment following an incident that occurred around 6:10 p.m. on May 2.
Vermont State Police responded to reports of suspicious activity after witnesses heard yelling, screaming and what sounded like a gunshot in the area.
The investigation identified two victims: Nancy Witherill, 70, and Susan Brace, 73, both of Rockingham.
Authorities did not release details about what prompted the confrontation or whether anyone was injured.
Hendrickson is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on June 17 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charges.
