LINCOLN — A Providence man was arrested early Thursday on multiple charges including reckless driving and receiving stolen goods, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Michael Barney, 30, of 38 Judith Street, was taken into custody at 12 a.m. May 2 by troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Barney faces four counts of reckless driving and other offenses against public safety as a second or subsequent offense.
He was also charged with obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, resisting arrest, and receiving stolen goods.
Authorities did not immediately release details about the circumstances leading to Barney’s arrest or the nature of the stolen goods allegedly in his possession.
