BRASHER — State Police arrested Mark W. Darby, 50, of Malone, for Criminal Trespass in the 3rd degree and Grand Larceny in the 4th degree following a reported burglary on State Route 37C.
On May 1 at approximately 11:11 p.m., Troopers responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the town of Brasher.
The investigation revealed that Darby had entered the victim’s property and stolen the victim’s Mule.
He was seen walking down State Route 37C with the stolen Mule.
Darby was apprehended and transported to SP Massena for processing.
The Mule was subsequently returned to the victim.
Darby was issued appearance tickets to appear in the Town of Brasher Court for a later date in June.
